Townsquare — Terms of Service

Townsquare is a private community application provided free of charge by its operator. By using the service, you agree to the following:

1. You have been added to the system at the invitation of a community host.
2. You will use the service for its intended purpose: managing your participation in community game nights.
3. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
4. The operator may remove your access at any time for any reason.

SMS messaging terms

When your community host adds you to Townsquare, you may receive an initial invitation text with a link to sign in; recurring messages begin only after you sign in and check the consent box.

By checking the consent box at sign-in, you agree to receive text messages from Townsquare and your community host at the phone number you provide. Messages include login verification codes, game night invitations, reminders, and post-game recaps. Checking the consent box is required to sign in to and use Townsquare, because the service operates over SMS.

Message frequency varies; you can expect approximately 2–6 messages per game session, with sessions occurring roughly 4 times per month. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out; reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or contact duncan527@gmail.com. Opting out of SMS prevents delivery of login verification codes, so you will not be able to sign in until you opt back in. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
