Townsquare — Privacy Policy

Townsquare is a private community management app for organizing recurring Blood on the Clocktower game nights. We collect only the information necessary to operate the service: your name and phone number, which the community host adds to the system.

Mobile information

Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in data are used solely to deliver login verification codes and game session invitations. We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information to any third party for marketing purposes. The only third party that receives your phone number is our SMS provider, Twilio, for the sole purpose of sending the messages you opted in to receive. Again, no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or romotional purposes at any time. Mobile opt-in data is collected solely to operate the messaging service and is not sold, rented, or disclosed for any other purpose.

Message frequency

You can expect to receive approximately 2–6 SMS messages per game session, including a verification code at login, an invitation, an optional reminder, and a post-game recap. Sessions occur approximately 4 times per month.

Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply to SMS sent or received.

Opt-out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You can opt back in by replying START.
